• The insulin pump is licensed for adults and children of all ages.
• The REAL-Time glucose monitoring component is approved for adult and children of all ages in Canada.

How much does the MiniMed® Paradigm® VEO™ Insulin Pump and Continuous Glucose Monitoring System cost?

Several public, private and group health insurance plans cover insulin pumps and/or CGM sensors and insulin pump supplies. Medtronic also offers several payment plan options for your convenience.

Once you're using an insulin pump, you may be eligible for federal or provincial tax credits and may be able to claim diabetes management equipment costs on your annual income tax return.

What happens if I need help after I start using the MiniMed® Paradigm® VEO™ Insulin Pump and Continuous Glucose Monitoring System?

Medtronic provides ongoing support to all Medtronic pump users. If you have any questions after you get started, call Medtronic at 1-800-284-4416. Our staff of support professionals, dedicated diabetes nurses and specialists provides a number of free services to help you get comfortable with insulin pump technology.

What happens if I have a problem with my MiniMed® Paradigm® VEO™ Insulin Pump and Continuous Glucose Monitoring System?

If anything should happen to your Medtronic insulin pump while under warranty, Medtronic's Replacement Program provides you with peace of mind and support, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Just call our Customer Care Line (1-800-284-4416) from anywhere in Canada and we'll ship a replacement pump to you within 24 hours. That's our commitment to you.¹

Replacement service will ensure that you receive a replacement pump as soon as possible so that your life isn't interrupted.
